Founders Malene and Claus Bellinger began the journey in 2003 by creating innovative eyewear rich in color and design, with the mission of adding a new flavor to the eyewear industry: Eccentric. We are proud to say that Bellinger has succeeded to do so ever since and is still world-known for its unique eyewear that stands out from the crowd.
Bellinger House continues to seek out the newest design ideas, maintain the highest level of passion and joy, and remain unshakeable in its drive towards innovation. The company developed the world’s first carbon fiber eyewear collection under the name BLAC in 2008, and joined forces with the trendy Los Angeles based brand Entourage of 7 founded by Jakob Talbo in 2013.

Bellinger:

The fun shapes, the unique color combinations, the fine details, or the precision cuttings – these are all things that make Bellinger stand out.
Entourage of 7:
In the best American style, the Danish founder Jakob Talbo had a dream to try his luck himself. He started Entourage of 7 in 2007 - a Los Angeles inspired eyewear brand that designs luxury eyewear and sunglasses mixing classic, retro looks with a little pinch of Hollywood vintage and the sassy and bold trends of today.
Entourage of 7 is luxury eyewear influenced by the city where it originated: Los Angeles, the City of Angels - an ever-changing, multicultural melting pot, where you are always reminded to be courageously creative.
Jakob Talbo is, to this day, still the head of design at Entourage of 7 – a brand that has left its mark on eyewear fashion and whose position has been cemented within Hollywood’s movie scene and with celebrities across the world. Most famous is the model Beacon, which starred as the main accessory for Matt Damon’s character Carroll Shelby in “Ford v. Ferrari” (Le Mans ’66), and was worn by Michael Douglas in the Golden Globe best comedy series, “The Kominsky Method".
BLAC:
The story begins with designer Claus Bellinger and his fascination of McLaren’s carbon composite MP4-1 body, which rocked the Formula 1 World at Silverstone in 1981. This event became the starting point for a pioneering marathon that would end up with the first ever-seen carbon fiber frame launched by BLAC in 2008. We are proud to have developed the world’s first adjustable carbon frame! One of the key features about BLAC is the adjustable temples! This is why we have been given a patent for the idea of implanting a metal core inside a carbon fiber lamination. In our case we use a titanium core, but the patent is for all metal.
Keeping true to the BLAC concept, we design new shapes that are edgy, cool, minimalistic, and that exploit the advantages of the carbon fiber, aiming for a BLAC collection that fits and looks great.
The top secret, novel production process allows each BLAC frame to get special attention and craftsmanship, ensuring that each frame is unique. All frames are custom-made by hand for each individual customer, with hinges, screws and endtips that are tailor specifically for our BLAC frames.
