For more than 10 years, KOBERG has been the collection in which we realize everything that is important to us: Uncompromising, product-oriented and long-lasting design.
UNCOMPROMISING, PRODUCT-ORIENTED AND LONG-LASTING DESIGN
The hallmark of the first KOBERG collections is the cylindrical, screwless hinge by Josef Lanta from Bad Meinberg in East Westphalia-Lippe. Specially designed for the KOBERG collection, the matching temple design gives the frames their specific character.
A second design line from Studio Spektakel translates the cylindrical hinge into a narrower shape, which enables more delicate temple shapes.
For the Titan collection, the hinge was then reworked once again and given a flat shape. The aim of every design stage was always to incorporate the specific material properties into the frame design as best as possible.
SUSTAINABLE
Wherever possible, we opt for a sustainable variant. KOBERG frames, for example, are packaged in linen bags and have a case made of cardboard instead of plastic.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The supply chain of a KOBERG frame is short and manageable. Everyone who works on it does so under the best possible working conditions and always receives a fair wage for his work.
