Ocumeda is a network of ophthalmologists with a mission to prevent vision loss. Through our teleophthalmologic approach, we enable easily accessible eye check-ups in close cooperation with our partners. Our licensed ophthalmologists check the transmitted data and images for abnormalities or deviations from normal values. These can provide indications of diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration or glaucoma.
Since our foundation in 2019, we have been working with over 400 locations in Germany, Switzerland and Austria and have already carried out over 100,000 eye check-ups. Our leadership team combines medical, technological and entrepreneurial expertise to make our vision of comprehensive eye care a reality.
