With the latest generation of the ImpressionIST® 4+, all relevant centering parameters can be determined easily, quickly and with high precision: The innovative video centering device enables measurement in the habitual head and body posture - without the need for an distorting measurement attachment, which can often falsify the measurement result.
The objective measurement by means of the patented 3D stereo camera system guarantees a measurement accuracy that is clearly superior to the manual method in terms of quality and reproducibility. With the help of the visualized mesh geometry of the face, which is already displayed in a live preview, the spectacle wearer can experience the measurement up close and optimally positioned. During the measurement, images from two perspectives are captured by two cameras when looking into the mirror with the pre-fitted spectacle frame – completely without a measurement attachment. With the help of only one simultaneous image in optimized image quality from different perspectives, parameters such as corneal vertex distance, pupil distance, frame lens angle and pre-tilt as well as pupil diameter are precisely measured. The spectacle wearer receives an unrivaled individual and precise result, in short: the spectacles that are perfectly tailored to him or her and offer optimal visual comfort.
State-of-the-art technology for more convenience
The ImpressionIST® 4+ can be operated directly via the touch monitor, a second PC or via iPad. Thanks to automatic data synchronization in a central database in CNXT®, the results are available on all output media with significantly increased data security. There is no need to export or import data at all, which makes this step much easier, clearer and more secure.
As a further highlight, the device offers an integrated distance LED light, which projects a positioning guide onto the floor and thus indicates the optimum distance of the spectacle wearer from the device.
A simplified evaluation of the measurement results is now supported by further developed software assistance systems, which offer, for example, a plausibility check of the measured values and also an optimized frame shape preselection.
The ImpressionIST® 4+ is available as both a stand-alone and wall-mounted version and can be easily converted as required. With its simple and elegant design, it complements any store concept and underlines the company's own expertise as a premium provider in the field of ophthalmic optics.
