SafeVision by HOYA- new safety eyewear portfolio

Occupational safety is rightly a top priority. The obligation to wear safety glasses is therefore widespread. With the new SafeVision portfolio, HOYA now presents a comprehensive range of safety eyewear in accordance with the applicable EN 166 standard.

According to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) regulations, employers must ensure that their employees have appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to potential hazards. General dress eyewear does not comply with the EN 166 standard for safety eyewear. The EN 166 standard specifies that safety eyewear must meet stringent design, structural and lens retention requirements. All products in the SafeVision product portfolio have been tested according to these requirements and are labeled according to their protective performance: SafeVision products have fulfilled the requirements for Optical Class 1 certification. Both the lenses and the frames thus bear the required markings in accordance with the EN 166 standard.

High-quality single vision and progressive lenses - also with tinting

The single vision and progressive lenses are manufactured according to the highest quality standards with innovative technologies from the very resistant material PNX. They thus combine excellent vision and comprehensive protection in an optimal way. SafeVision lenses are available with two high-quality coating options that achieve high scratch resistance and reduced reflections, as well as easier cleaning. For workers who are frequently outdoors, the SafeVision portfolio offers tinted and photocromic lenses for comprehensive protection against potentially harmful UV radiation.

A diverse frame portfolio - for optimum wearing comfort

A good fit and a perfect fit are of paramount importance for the acceptance of safety eyewear. SafeVision's range of frames has therefore been designed to be particularly diverse. Here, spectacle wearers will find frames that meet their individual wishes and visual requirements.
