The Menicon Bloom™ Myopia Control Management System was developed to offer a safe and effective application for myopia control. Fabio Carta, Global Professional Services Manager for Myopia Management Division presents the holistic Menicon approach in his lecture.
Controlling myopia means avoiding the development of pathological myopia. It´s a clinical intervention and requires safety for everyone involved.
Menicon BloomTM includes a professional cloud-based software, for calculating and ordering the contact lenses and is complemented by an app for patients to keep communication on top of the treatment. A documentation system is also integrated to support the necessary patient performance.
Two types of contact lenses certified for myopia management are included: Menicon Bloom NightTM, an orthokeratology contact lens, and Menicon Bloom DayTM, a soft daily disposable contact lens.
