Over a cone of popcorn, you can chat to our current students and find out more about our degree programme.
We are the only degree programme in Germany to combine an engineering degree with master craftsman and optometrist training - in just 7 semesters (3.5 years). On completion of the degree programme, you will receive both a Bachelor of Engineering and - if you pass the examination at the Chamber of Crafts - a Master Optician qualification and, if applicable, a Master Optometrist qualification (HWK). The degree programme can be individually designed as a full-time, part-time or dual course - there are various options, depending on what suits you best.
The course takes place both on the green campus of the TH Brandenburg in Brandenburg an der Havel and in the newly designed and equipped training centre of the opticians‘ and optometrists’ guild of the state of Brandenburg (AOI BRB) in Rathenow, the city of optics.
